ABOUT ME

Ever since I was kid, I've always liked to create artworks.  Picking up the camera for the first time was a refreshing experience for me - through the lenses, it allowed me the freedom to "see" the world in artistic ways.  I always enjoyed the process of finding the perfect angle to capture a scene or an action, to re-tell the story of the people, the ambiance, or that fleeing moment.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I am extremely driven to explore and learn new things.  When it comes to photography, I am always asking the questions of "how do I ..." and, "what new and different thing can I ..."  In addition to delivering the my best work for each client, I want to always inject fresh perspectives and creative ways of re-telling your story.

When I am photographing weddings or people, I start with the formals and portraits as these images celebrate the joy, preparation, and festivity of the special day.  Additionally, I strive to capture the emotion of the moments.  Without words, I want to capture photographs that can stand alone and tell the story of that instant in time, a moment forever frozen.

MY EQUIPMENT

I work with the latest lineup of camera bodies and lenses from Canon.  The lenses range from wide angle to telephoto, each serving a unique purpose throughout your big event.  I truly believe in using the right lens for the right moment, matching the scene with the proper effects each lens brings.  The post processing is carried out using the Adobe suite of products - in addition to the tremendous flexibility and enhanced functions, there's a wide community of users constantly providing the latest plug-ins and photo effects.  I strive to stay in sync with the latest technology to give you the most amazing photographs.

wedding photo - macro

Macro: This lens is great for capturing the details of your wedding day including the rings, floral arrangements, and decorations

  wedding photo - telephoto

Telephoto zoom: I use this lens to get the close up photographs including ring exchange, first kiss, or portraits.  The telephoto zoom allows me to stay at a distance without the pressure of being in-your-face

wedding photo - wide angle

Wide-angle: I often use this lens to photograph the church, reception hall, or outdoor scenery.  By placing the wedding party near the center, this lens helps capture the grandeur of the environment.

Standard Zoom: This is the primary lens for any situation in the wedding, ceremony or reception.  I use a "fast" lens which lets me better capture the atmosphere you've created for the ceremony and reception
